DJ ROGER
rabòday
DJ Roger is a Haitian DJ and producer whose work moves across rabòday, Afrobeat, trap kreyòl, and kompa. According to his Apache World Music biography, he played with Kreyòl La from 2005, became DJ for Roody Roodboy and his hype man in 2016, and took part in Port-au-Prince's 2017 Carnival championship.
His solo project took shape in 2018 with 'Party a Cho' (with Kenny, Mikaben, and Roody Roodboy), followed by 'Souke' (with Steves J. Bryan and Bigfa). In 2019, 'All About You' paired him with Medjy Enposib and Rayy Raymond; later releases continue that bridge between rabòday and Haitian dance music.
