Noël
by Bossa Combo · 1986 · mini-djaz · 10:00 · Haitian Creole, French
Ten minutes exactly. Noël belongs to a mini-djaz format with nothing in common with a single: the band lets each section develop, and the length reflects how this music was made to be played live. Bossa Combo was born on 14 August 1968 in Waney, in the Carrefour area, with young musicians from Waney, Fontamara and Carrefour-Feuilles — it was called Rex Stars first. The same recording appears on more than one Topic channel, one under Bossa Combo and one under Rodrigue Toussaint/Bossa Combo: two distribution routes for a single record.
