Sugar feat. Bijou
by Domec Brusly · 2024 · kompa, afrobeat, rara · 2:35 · Haitian Creole, French
Domec Brusly and Bijou share “SUGAR” in a 2024 official video ending after two minutes and thirty-five seconds. The English title puts sweetness first, while the record crosses kompa, Afrobeat, and rara, three sources able to give the same sugar image different movement. Domec enters as a percussionist, singer, and composer carrying Côte-de-Fer's rhythms into a current language; Bijou adds another voice to the small space. The brevity makes the duet rely on chemistry and hook rather than a long solo or explanatory arrangement.
