VEYE YO
by Fantom · 2023 · rabòday · 3:52 · Haitian Creole, French
Fantom released “Veye Yo” as an official video in August 2023. The title gives an instruction to watch: keep eyes on them and do not let others’ actions pass without attention. From a Barikad Crew MC accustomed to bravado, street life, and warnings, the phrase carries suspicion and control together. The catalog classifies the track as rabòday, and across nearly four minutes its rapid beat turns vigilance into movement. Fantom does not stand watching silently; voice, repeated hook, and rhythmic energy circulate the warning through a crowd.
