Kòd Gita
by Master Brain · 2020 · kompa · 4:46 · Haitian Creole, French
Kòd gita — guitar strings. Master Brain builds the track around the instrument that gives it its name, with Mikey Mike alongside him, and what comes out is a kompa-pop line that is easy to hold onto: tenderness and gentle rhythm in the same space. Four minutes forty-six, released in March 2020. Master Brain works as a producer as much as an artist, which explains the shape — someone used to building things for other people knows when to take his hands off.
