Soleil - Mwen vle w
by Tafa Mi · 2021 · chanson · 5:47 · Haitian Creole, French
Tafa Mi-Soleil declares “Mwen Vle w” in this official video from June 2021. The title does not hide desire behind a complicated image, but her performance gives the simple phrase a larger visual and vocal presence. Across nearly six minutes, the song lets her voice, artistic sense, and rhythm develop without hurry. Tafa comes from a world where music, painting, fashion, roots, and the body communicate. Even as the catalog classifies the track as chanson, her approach keeps Haitian sensibility in language, phrasing, and the intensity given to wanting.
