Sexy Chocolat
by TROUBLEBOY HITMAKER · 2020 · hip-hop · 3:45 · Haitian Creole, French
Troubleboy Hitmaker released the official “Sexy Chocolat” video in September 2020. The title uses color as an image of attraction and places its compliment inside a smooth form made for a hook. Troubleboy comes from Kreyol rap, but his strength includes moving into melody and relationship songs without losing an MC’s presence. Across three minutes and forty-five seconds, his voice balances compliment, bravado, and hitmaker instinct. The track shows where Haitian rap and pop meet when one compact phrase is meant to travel beyond a verse.
