M Pa Gen Lot
by Dena Babe · 2023 · kompa · 4:27 · Haitian Creole, French
“M Pa Gen Lòt” brings Dena Babe and WID into a kompa dialogue whose title declares exclusivity without hesitation. Although the catalog listing places Dena Babe as the primary artist, WID’s official video credits both names. Published in 2023, the collaboration approaches fifteen million views and puts Dena’s gentle voice before a large HMI audience. WID brings his kompa experience, while the exchange between the two singers makes the title’s declaration sound like a conversation rather than a monologue.
