Kilotswald, Alan Cavé
by 5LAN · 2017 · kompa · 5:10 · Haitian Creole, French
The source clarifies the catalog title: this is “Kilot,” a 5LAN track featuring Oswald and Alan Cavé. The 2017 recording gathers three sensibilities across more than five minutes of kompa. 5LAN supplies its DJ logic, gouyad pull, and Miami diaspora movement, while the guests bring two voices already at home in romantic kompa and zouk. It does not play as a technical showcase. Melody and cadence stay close, and the contrast between singers gives this intimate dance record more color than a single-voice performance.
