La même folie
by Arly Larivière · 2009 · kompa · 5:55 · Haitian Creole, French
Arly Lariviere calls the track "La meme folie," as though the same madness is returning or shared between two people. The kompa recording belongs to his 2009 catalog and lasts five minutes and fifty-five seconds. Its French title does not say what behavior earns that name or whether the word is tender or critical. This page fills no gap with a story. It follows "meme": repetition and recognition give the phrase weight while the groove returns something irrational to a stable form.
