“K+K=2K” is Boukman Eksperyans’s 2003 carnival track, preserved here through a 2018 copy marked for better sound quality. Its title resembles an equation, a visual slogan able to sit on a placard before music begins. Across more than eight and a half minutes, the band gathers roots sound, percussion, guitar, collective voices, and carnival structure into a track that must last for crowds to follow.
