Lento opened the door and Kow Kow walked through it. Two years after the Wendyyy collaboration put Durkheim in front of a much larger audience, this is him working alone in a short, melodic, entirely current format — everyday phrasing over production that brings rap kreyòl close to modern R&B. Three minutes is all it takes because the writing does not reach for grandeur: romance, absence, apology, a melancholy line held longer than expected. Active since 2018, he has built a small vocabulary and trusts it completely.
