KAI brings Medjy onto “Jije m” in 2021, taking five minutes and one second across rabòday and kompa. Richard Cavé carries the experience of a band songwriter and singer, while Medjy arrives with the voice of the ENPOSIB generation. The Kreyòl title concerns judgment in the first person, placing two personalities before the same question. The collaboration bridges two lanes of modern kompa: Carimi's inheritance and the Montreal, streaming-facing sound that helped change how a younger audience encountered HMI.
