Kimele'm Kanaval
by King Kessy · 2015 · rasin · 8:18 · Haitian Creole, French
The Emmanuel V source presents “Kimele'M” as an official King Kessy Koudjay video for carnival 2011, although the catalog file carries a 2015 year. Those two markers show a recording continuing to circulate beyond its season. The rasin classification suits a carnival piece grounded in percussion, collective response, and direct contact with the street. At eight minutes and eighteen seconds, this is not shaped like a brief radio cut; it has room to build, repeat, and sustain motion. The available data does not explain the precise meaning of the title, but its carnival identity and King Kessy Koudjay credit remain clear.
