No Drama
by Kreyol La · 2024 · kompa · 4:05 · Haitian Creole
No Drama is Kreyol La in a recent phase: clean sound, a direct hook, relationship writing anyone can follow on the first pass. What keeps it from being generic is band discipline — this is a group that has been playing together in various forms since 2005, and the arrangement still moves like a band rather than a stack of parts. Four minutes, an English title, and a delivery cut for current listening habits. The Zenny-led lineup entered HMI's major league fast in the 2000s, and records like this show what that experience buys twenty years on.
