Wap Potel Tounen
by Master Brain · 2020 · kompa · 3:40 · Haitian Creole, French
Master Brain invites Flav onto “Wap Potel Tounen,” a 2020 kompa video lasting three minutes and forty seconds. The title concerns bringing someone back, and two voices give that declaration a shared form rather than a monologue. The track predates Master Brain's catalog collaborations with Klass, Roody Roodboy, and MechansT, documenting an earlier stage of his musical network. Kompa remains the only listed genre, with enough time for Flav and Master Brain to exchange places without making the recording unnecessarily long.
