HAPPY BIRTAYpa gen pasen album
by ROCKFAM · 2011 · hip-hop · 4:21 · Haitian Creole, French
Rockfam carries “Happy Birthday” on the album “Pa Gen Pase n,” according to the video title MIA fam published in 2011. The catalog joins the song and album names and misspells “Birthday,” while the source makes the celebratory purpose clear. Across more than four minutes, the rap group takes an occasion recognized by families and friends worldwide and gives it the Lame-a signature. Instead of a traditional birthday song, collective voices, Haitian Creole, and hip-hop rhythm color the moment through a crew accustomed to turning public slogans into crowd memory.
