T-Vice calls its 2012 carnival meringue “CEC La Qualité,” a title making quality a public claim before the crowd. The official video runs seven minutes with electronic rhythm, guitar, voices, slogans, and speed drawn from Roberto and Reynaldo Martino’s experience on carnival floats and major festivals. “La qualité” cannot remain marketing language; the band must prove it through an arrangement sustaining energy throughout. Carnival turns that claim into competition, as each group asks the public to measure sound, presence, and command of the street.
