One Night Stand feat. Roody Roodboy
by VAYB · 2018 · kompa · 4:55 · Haitian Creole, French
One Night Stand sets two registers against each other on one subject: temptation, chemistry, and the point where romance reaches its limit. VAYB bring band elegance, Roody Roodboy brings a blunter way of speaking, and the conversation works because neither tries to sound like the other. Four minutes fifty-five over a kompa that stays smooth even when the subject is not. It appeared in May 2018 on a Topic channel, so distribution rather than a video launch is what put it out.
