"Kole" My Story Chapter 1
by WID · 2021 · kompa · 5:55 · Haitian Creole, French
WID positions “Kole” as chapter one of his “My Story” series, making the 2021 song an opening statement in a solo narrative. After his experience with Zenglen, Widler Octavius built his own catalog around reconstruction, pain, and new beginnings. “Kole” enters that line without requiring invented details about its lyrics. The official video, published by kompagrooves, lasts nearly six minutes and gives the kompa arrangement enough time to keep WID’s emotionally focused voice at the front.
