Stop The Hatred feat. MC Jin
by Wyclef Jean · 2021 · hip-hop, rasin · 4:23 · Haitian Creole, French
MC Jin and Wyclef Jean place a moral instruction in the title "Stop The Hatred" in 2021. Four minutes and twenty-three seconds of hip-hop also carry a roots tag, locating the message between American rap and Wyclef's Haitian conscience. Both artists come from diaspora experience and use rap to address communities. The English title needs no metaphor: it asks hatred to stop. Their collaboration gives that request two voices and two different migration histories.
