Happy 50
by Zenglen · 2020 · kompa · 14:49 · Haitian Creole, French
“Happy 50” marks a celebration in Zenglen’s catalog, with Richie and Kenny named as participants in the official title. The performance approaches fifteen minutes, giving it the scale of a festive moment developed by the band rather than a quick birthday song. Zenglen uploaded it in August 2020 alongside several other long recordings. Kompa supplies the celebration with a dance foundation, while the two named guests make this version easy to distinguish within the group’s repertoire.
