Je t’aime a la folie
by Zenglen · 2024 · kompa · 5:35 · Haitian Creole, French
Zenglen takes five minutes and thirty-five seconds to develop “Je t'aime à la folie,” a kompa track released in 2024. The French title makes a love declaration without measure, and the length gives bass, keyboards, and band melody enough time to support it. No singer or guest is named in the video title, so the page stays with Zenglen as a collective institution able to change voices while keeping its sound. After several HMI decades, the recording shows the band still returning to romance in an unhurried kompa form.
