Si Yo Vle
by Baky Popile · 2022 · hip-hop · 4:13 · Haitian Creole, French
Baky does not stand alone on "Si Yo Vle." Medjy, Steves J. Bryan, and Troubleboy Hitmaker turn the 2022 single into a compact gathering of several branches of Haitian urban music. Baky's Kreyol rap meets Medjy's melodic sense and two more voices accustomed to collaborative, digital-era records. The four-minute, thirteen-second form gives each appearance some air. Instead of closing hip-hop around one rapper, the track opens it toward singing and different HMI personalities.
