Denye Let

Baky Popile released Dènye Lèt on 7 May 2022 and Love Pa Peye Bill the following day. Two records on consecutive days, and nothing alike about them: one is a public argument about money, the other is a letter. Here the writing is longer and more personal, like a message that could not stay inside. Five minutes fifty-two carried by phrasing, voice and emotional weight rather than an easy hook, which makes it one of the more demanding tracks in his catalogue.
