Avouer
by BLONDEDY FERDINAND · 2021 · kompa · 5:29 · Haitian Creole, French
“Avouer” brings Blondedy Ferdinand and Antonny Drew together, according to the title of the video published on Antonny’s channel in 2021. The catalog places Blondedy as primary, while the source names both artists. Its French title asks for an admission, fitting Blondedy’s public persona: dramatic, direct, and willing to place a relationship before an audience. Antonny adds zouk and Creole soul color, making the kompa more trans-Caribbean. Across more than five minutes, the duet lets confession pass between two voices instead of leaving one person alone to demand the truth.
