Nou pap sa bliye: we will not forget this. Boukman Eksperyans make a song about collective memory and resistance to injustice, and the tense matters — it is not "we remember" but a refusal to forget, an act of will rather than a state. Five minutes five, in a rasin setting where drums and chant carry the weight. Lòlò and Mimerose Beaubrun chose the Boukman name to place the music inside the memory of the Revolution, and a title like this is the same gesture.
