Kantik Louwanj Ayiti
by DELLY BENSON · 2021 · gospel · 3:27 · Haitian Creole, French
“Kantik Louwanj Ayiti” places the country inside the title of a praise song Delly Benson released on Good Friday 2021. The gospel track lasts three minutes and twenty-seven seconds, and the phrase might carry prayer for Haiti, gratitude, or an invitation for the country to praise; the lyrics set the direction. Delly sings as a church voice shaped by northern Haiti and Artibonite community life. No guest appears in the credit, but “Ayiti” makes the address collective. A solo hymn becomes a space where the nation can hear its own name within worship.
