Djakout #1 calls its 2015 carnival track “2 Gidon,” an image of two handlebars trying to steer the same machine or movement. The video appeared February 8 and runs beyond seven and a half minutes, leaving multiple voices, slogans, drums, percussion, keyboards, guitar, and rhythmic changes room to take the street. The title already raises direction and leadership: with two handlebars, who steers? Djakout uses its djaz lari force to make the metaphor public. Crowds dance while the track places a conflict of control before everyone.
