Karma

Karma comes from We Are Ready, and the album title is a statement as much as a name. Djapot is a new-generation kompa band connecting the South Florida diaspora sound to the wider HMI ecosystem, carried by Pedro Force as singer, arranger and bandleader. Almost six minutes as a video single gives a dramatic relationship narrative room to develop rather than announce itself. A new group choosing length over immediate impact is saying something about the kind of band it intends to be.
