Jwenn Chans Mwen
by Durkheim · 2022 · chanson · 3:26 · Haitian Creole, French
“Jwenn Chans Mwen” sits between Durkheim's early singles and the album Tous Ces Détails that followed two years later. The 2022 lyrics video lasts three minutes and twenty-six seconds, and the catalog calls it chanson. Its Kreyòl title concerns receiving an opportunity, unlike the apology in “Dezole” or separation in “Kite w La.” That gives the page its own center. Voice and melody remain the main tools, but the central phrase opens toward advancement rather than relationship pain alone.
