Khiumy
by Durkheim · 2024 · chanson · 3:04 · Haitian Creole, French
“Khiumy” appears on Tous Ces Détails, Durkheim's 2024 debut album. The catalog classifies it as chanson, a fitting designation for an artist who places melody and intimacy ahead of a full band's large structure. Its official lyrics visualizer runs just over three minutes and lets the text move beside the voice. On a fifteen-track album where French, Kreyòl, and English titles sit together, “Khiumy” gives this song a brief, distinct signature without explaining itself beforehand.
