Kite w La ÉP. 1
by Durkheim · 2024 · chanson · 3:54 · Haitian Creole, French
Kite w La ÉP. 1 opens a story cycle about love, distance and difficult decisions. What separates an opening from a single is that it does not have to finish: it can set a situation up and leave it open, because ÉP. 2 is coming eight days later. Durkheim's vocal sits between melodic rap and Creole chanson, with the tension carried by the video. Three minutes fifty-four, released on 14 September 2024.
