Salut B
by Durkheim · 2020 · chanson · 3:23 · Haitian Creole, French
"Salut B" appeared as a lyric video in 2020, within the early run of songs that began circulating Durkheim's name. The title resembles a brief greeting, and its three minutes and twenty-three seconds retain that closeness. Classified as chanson, the track puts voice, melody, and writing first. Before his debut album, Durkheim was already establishing an intimate tone in which an everyday phrase could open an entire recording.
