Pap Ka Separe
by Harmonik · 2021 · kompa, kompa-gouyad · 5:23 · Haitian Creole
Pap Ka Separe is one of Harmonik's biggest videos of the 2020s, and the collaboration with Jessie Woo is what pushed it across YouTube and the diaspora audience. That says something about how a band formed in 2007 stays current: not by changing its sound but by choosing who to share it with. Five minutes twenty-three, uploaded to HarmonikVEVO in 2023. The kompa gouyad does not move; the network does, and Harmonik understands the difference.
