Pou Nou 2 feat. Kingstreet
by JBeatz · 2024 · kompa · 4:18 · Haitian Creole, French
JBeatz and Kingstreet bring different practices together on 2024's "Pou Nou 2." JBeatz comes from diaspora kompa as a producer, engineer, and musician; Kingstreet belongs to the newer digital Kreyol rap and drill wave. The catalog still classifies the track as kompa, placing rap on band-cadence ground. Four minutes and eighteen seconds give both presences time to remain visible. The Creole title centers a pair: this is for the two of us.
