“Kenbe M'” places a request not to let go inside Mikaben’s voice, from an artist able to cross kompa, twoubadou, gospel, roots, and pop without losing his Haitian center. Released in May 2018, the recording runs five minutes with kompa-gouyad making “hold me” physical in the dance.
