Option

Oswald released “Option” through the Oswald Sxm channel in April 2021. French and English share the same word, and the title places a relationship before a choice: is someone a priority, possibility, or reserve? Across nearly five minutes, his intimate voice and kompa-gouyad give the question time without making it a hurried accusation. Oswald uses melody to make pain and closeness sound gentle even when an idea remains difficult. Here, one word measures the singer’s value in another person’s eyes while cadence keeps dignity moving.
