L'union Fait La Force Haiti Tribute "Unity is Strength"

L'Union Fait La Force is Haiti's national motto, and Phyllisia Ross builds a tribute around solidarity and memory. The video went up on 10 January 2011 — two days before the first anniversary of the 12 January 2010 earthquake — and that date is part of the meaning. Three minutes fifty-seven. Choosing a motto rather than a personal story is a decision: a song of mourning can speak about one person, but a motto speaks about a country, and that is what the moment called for.
