Sunshine

Sunshine is Phyllisia Ross in 2009 with Ne-Yo and Flo Rida — a late-2000s R&B/pop crossover moment placing a Haitian-American singer inside a mainstream American context. Four minutes thirty-four. It is her earliest entry in this catalog, and it shows a different road from the one she took: Konsa and U & Me would choose Creole and piano, while here she is in a format that asks her to choose nothing.
