Ajite

“Ajite” is Rockfam Lame A's 2020 carnival track, a seven-minute recording that gives the collective time to unfold group vocals, Kreyòl rap, and street energy. The length belongs to the form: carnival music must keep a crowd moving, repeat its lines, and change sections without losing momentum. Rockfam brings its military imagery and collective discipline into that setting. The video on the group's channel documents how fully Haitian rap had entered the carnival season by this point.
