Disip

kompa

Disip is Gazzman Couleur's band, built after his voice had already moved through several major kompa chapters. From Gonaïves, Gazzman passed through Yeah Bah, Zenglen Plus/D-Zine, and Nu Look before launching diSIP de Gazzman Couleur in 2010 with support from managers and advisers such as Patrick Fabre. Disip is not just a new name; it is the attempt of a singer who had already carried several bands to take control of his own narrative.

The group works with a commercial sound, but it also has an emotional theatricality that turns many songs into public declarations: love, betrayal, pride, separation, faith, family, and self-respect. The debut album 'Mission' (2010), followed by 'VikTwa' (2013), 'Klere Yo' (2016), and 'Loreya' (2019), shows Gazzman opening more than one color: love singer, moral preacher, showman, and artist willing to place personal hurt in the middle of a dance band.

'Leader', 'Heartbreak Misery', 'Madanm Mwen', 'Sim Te Gen Pouvwa Lavi', 'Klere Yo', 'Psaumes 150', 'J'ai brûlé les étapes', 'Loreya', and 'M ap gade w nan je m' show a band that understands the power of a charismatic lead voice. Gazzman does not always need many words to make a record land; his vocal color, dramatic pauses, and way of attacking hooks become the signature.

Disip shows how post-Nu Look and post-Djakout kompa became more personalized, more branded, and still built for the dance. The Gazzman/Disip official channel contains a lot of live material, so the catalog has to stay selective: imports should be clear songs or performances with real musical value, not simple recaps or promos.
