J'ai brule les etapes Etap
by Disip · 2016 · kompa · 5:47 · Haitian Creole, French
“J’ai brûlé les étapes” places Gazzman Couleur’s voice at the front of a confession about moving through life too quickly. The track belongs to Disip’s 2016 “Klere Yo” period, and its Topic version runs nearly six minutes. Disip often turns love, pride, separation, and personal hurt into public declarations; this French title fits that emotional theater closely. The kompa remains danceable, but Gazzman’s pauses and his attack on the hook give the idea of skipped steps a sense of consequence rather than leaving it as a polished phrase.
