Gazzman Couleur
by Disip · 2021 · kompa · 4:47 · Haitian Creole, French
The catalog file calls this entry “Gazzman Couleur,” but the video source identifies the track as Disip Gazzman Couleur’s “Sweet Love” featuring Tipachou and dates the recording to March 2015. This description follows the source credit without changing the identifier. Across nearly five minutes, Gazzman’s deep voice and Tipachou’s participation place sweet love inside kompa dialogue. Disip uses keyboards, bass, drums, and bal groove to bring the English phrase into HMI sound. Two voices keep “sweet love” from remaining a label; exchange gives it presence and response.
