Ayiti Twoubadou places Tonton Bicha forward on “4 Kanpe,” a collective recording drawn from the repertoire of Les Frères Dodo. The video copy was uploaded in 2008 and runs beyond five and a half minutes. Fabrice Rouzier’s project gathered voices and musicians across generations to give twoubadou new arranging and visibility. Bicha suits a song where humor, speech, and storytelling matter as much as rhythm. Rather than treating tradition as a museum, guitar, percussion, and character keep it alive as popular conversation still able to gather people.
