Nikita
by Zafem · 2023 · kompa, twoubadou · 5:56 · Haitian Creole, French
"Nikita" appeared as official audio on Zafem's channel in 2023, the year of Lalin Ak Solèy and the group's major New York premieres. The track runs nearly six minutes, allowing Dener Céide's guitar, Réginald Cangé's voice, and the kompa arrangement to take their time. Twoubadou remains a second cataloged color, bringing the melody closer to sung narrative than a simple dance cut. A person's name supplies the title, but musical patience defines this entry.
