Legend
by Baky Popile · 2025 · kompa · 3:06 · Haitian Creole, French
Baky calls this 2025 track “Legend,” a word that does not wait for time to pass before measuring an artist’s importance. The title can be a goal, a display of confidence, or a question about what someone must leave behind for a name to endure. Its kompa classification is notable for a rapper grounded in hip-hop, placing Baky’s persona inside a rhythm with its own long tradition. The official video lasts three minutes and six seconds, a compact form that does not need to recount a whole life. Rather than prove the status through a list, the recording can make presence, voice, and Baky’s stance on the music serve as the argument.
