K2012
by Barikad Crew · 2012 · kanaval, rabòday · 6:04 · Haitian Creole, French
Fred Hype’s source names this track “TOULÈBAGAY,” Barikad Crew’s 2012 carnival entry, while the catalog’s shorter title is “K2012.” The video was uploaded in mid-February and runs beyond six minutes. Production gathers several MCs, a large beat, slogans, and energy changes inside a street-built structure. The word promises totality: the team arrives with everything it has. Barikad uses its number of voices as force, each entrance adding pressure without breaking the Bas Peu-de-Chose crew identity.
