Jiskaprezan
by Barikad Crew · 2022 · hip-hop · 4:28 · Haitian Creole, French
“Jiskaprezan” looks backward without closing the door on what comes next. The word can introduce an accounting, measure what someone has endured, or correct how others understand a story. Barikad Crew places that idea in hip-hop, a form where successive rappers can add evidence and perspective verse by verse. This 2022 track runs four minutes and twenty-eight seconds and comes from the group’s official channel. The title does not say whether the balance is positive or heavy; it simply draws a line from the beginning to now. The present becomes a checkpoint rather than an ending, allowing each voice to explain what changed before the next stage begins.
