Carimi places a family refusal forward in “Pitit Sa Pa Pou Mwen,” a video copy uploaded in September 2010. The title does not hide its conflict: someone denies paternity or responsibility for a child. Across nearly five minutes, the band’s kompa gives that serious subject a story form people can sing and dance without removing its tension.
